ZESA shuts off power at daily at around 5am. I just heard the inverter beeping, signalling that it’s lost AC grid power.
These outages have been lasting for approximately 17 hours. So I expect power to come back on at or after 10pm. A backup power supply like solar panels + ac inverter + LiFePO4 battery is essential, for the few that can afford such luxuries.
This is more or less the same case with city council provided tap water.
